To wash your clothes, you must first separate the whites, the bright colors and dark colors. If you mix your whites with the colored ones in the washer, you can destroy them. You also always have to clog the zippers and empty the pockets.
Unfold the clothes and place them in the washer. Do not overfill the washer. There must always be empty space in the tub so that the clothes can be washed right.
Use detergent from the automatic detergent dispenser available at easywash Self Service Laundry, or bring your own detergent. It is important to use the correct amount of soap and softener according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The bleach should be placed in accordance with its instructions for use. Usually it is used together with the detergent in the same drawer. Only liquid bleach should be placed in bleach drawer.
Put the soap into the washing machine (top load washer) or in the detergent drawer (front load washer). Add liquid softener, if desired, according to product instructions.
For QUILTS & BLANKETS, make sure you use the appropriate washer (large washer). It is recommended that you use liquid detergent because powdered detergents may leave stains.
Check the labels on your clothes and the instructions of the washer and the detergent for the washing temperatures and select the appropriate wash cycle.
Washing takes about 25 to 35 minutes depending on the washing machine & the program.
As soon as the washing cycle ends, remove the clothes and place them in the dryer. Check the labels on the clothes to select the correct drying cycle and the correct temperature according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Clean the lint from the dryer filter. Close the door and turn on the dryer. The drying cycle takes about 20 to 50 minutes depending on the amount and type of laundry.
When drying large and bulky items, such as blankets and duvets, it is suggested to take them out of the dryer and put them back in in the opposite direction.
Once your clothes are dry, remove them from the dryer and fold them.
