The factory premises are 2.4 million square feet – imagine it is the size of 55 football fields! – and in it the American Maytag washing machines are manufactured and assembled.
More than 3,000 workers – some third and fourth generation – are employed in this factory, where 20,000 washing machines are manufactured and shipped every day.
